Subject matter expert for multiple programs/systems. Diagnose highly complex issues and evaluates, recommends, and executes the best resolution.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Architect, review, and harden QA testing plans that both meet business goals and ensure a positive user experience that meets standards.Lead the UI/UX and developments teams to support standards, define application interactions, perform usability and Accessibility testing, as well as advise developers on technical solutions.Work within cross-functional team to understand expectations, priorities, and necessary deliverables.Design, implement, monitor, enhance, and troubleshoot design ideas, along with fellow team members.Lead brainstorming sessions, and wireframe and design reviews to help solve problems.Ensure alignment of the implementation of Accessibility standards across various products and platforms.Mentor and guide Designers and Developers on proper standards.Identify opportunities to make accessibility more innovative while maintaining the health of the product, feature, and relationship with clients.Advocate for accessibility as it pertains to customer experience within the organization.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Required Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak and understand English.Demonstrated in-depth understanding of WCAG 2.1 Levels A and AADemonstrated in-depth Accessibility understanding and practices to digital applications in order to innovate from concept to launchDemonstrated in-depth knowledge of platform specific nomenclatureAbility to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage Accessibility workEffective time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when neededEffective client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)Effective written and verbal communication skillsEffective analytical and troubleshooting abilitiesRequired EducationBachelor’s Degree in Design / HCI / Related Field, or equivalent real world experienceRequired Related Work Experience and Number of YearsAccessibility experience, with at least 60% focus on testing: 7+Experience with industry standard Accessibility technologies (such as screen-readers, screen-magnifiers, speech-dictation, etc.): 5-8Experience with creating highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within consumer applicationsExperience with project estimationExperience with planning and facilitating user research and usability tests with disabled usersPreferred Qualifications: Familiar with the use of assistive technology on mobile platforms Knowledge of mobile accessibility APIs Knowledge of mobile development languages, such as Swift and Kotlin, as related to accessibility Strong understanding of mobile design best practicesPreferred EducationMaster’s DegreeWORKING CONDITIONSOffice environment#LI-RC1 MPDBR Here, employees dont just have jobs, they build careers.
