Position Purpose for Production Associate

Performs operations of the production facility. Responsibilities include daily operations of the CMM facility. Preparing food, cleaning and providing high quality performance to maximize customer satisfaction.

Production Associate Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• Assembles high quality products per the production schedule and SQF requirements.
• Performs tasks following safety guidelines and following specific processes and best practices for each task.
• Fosters a safe and clean work environment following all company implemented safety standards. Ensure work area is clean and sanitizes at all times.
• Attends training as needed and adheres to all department and company policies.
• Notify lead, manager, QA of any mechanical, material or SQF issues.
• Perform work procedures using Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to ensure food safety.
• Adheres to all safe quality food (SQF) requirements and standards in CMM. Including the proper handling of all produce according to SQF standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• This position if absent will be covered by the same level or the next higher level of leadership.

Preferred Qualifications Production Associate

Education and Background

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Food Manufacturing Industry experience.
• Highly motivated, hardworking individual who enjoy working as a team, possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and an obsessive commitment to customer safety, service, quality, and consistency

Work Hours

Morning Team members work a set schedule with Sunday and one other day off starting at 7:00 AM

Afternoon Team Members work a set schedule of Monday – Friday (optional Sat) starting at 4:00 PM, 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM

Environment / Physical Job Requirements

• Located in a refrigerated production facility environment. Must be able to work in a cold cooler environment (36 degrees and below). Minimal time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. Must be able to stand for periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, turn body and walk. Required to lift to 30 lbs

Compensation / Benefits

• We offer a competitive salary based on experience. This is a non-exempt position with a range of $14.00 -15.00 an hour depending on shift and experiencing with the opportunity to increase pay based on performance. We offer Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending Accounts, 401K with a match up to 4%, and paid time off.
