THE POSITION
The Bureau of Workforce Development Administration (BWDA) is looking for a detailed individual with fiscal experience to perform a broad range of duties to support their division operations. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position monitors and controls operations of the Grants and Fiscal Services Division’s fiscal processing system, including recommending and implementing changes to procedure to resolve any problem areas and/or enhance system efficiency, monitoring service authorizations and purchase orders to assure proper management of cash flow and ensuring that funds requested do not exceed funds available in various grant categories.
This position is responsible for all fiscal transactions in the Grants and Fiscal Services Division, reviews all service authorizations in the CWDS System for accuracy and conformance to current fiscal policy and procedure and returns incorrect service authorizations for correction.
+ Full-time employment.
+ Work hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday; one hour lunch.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Qualifications:
+ Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience performing bookkeeping or clerical accounting work;OR an Associate’s degree in accounting or business administration including or supplemented by six credits in accounting;OR any equivalent combination of experience and training.
