The University Advancement Division invites applications for an Assistant Director of Annual Giving. This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Director of Annual Giving is responsible for the personal cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors, specifically focusing on reunion and class leader fundraising initiatives, student philanthropy, and text message and video communications. This position works very closely with volunteer leadership and partners with other Advancement staff to solicit contributions from and increase engagement of Ohio Wesleyan alumni. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to directly solicit gifts, work with volunteers, and to handle confidential information with discretion. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, be highly motivated, and take a proactive approach to their work.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The Office of University Advancement highly values the work culture it has built – centering on collegiality, teamwork and working hard/playing hard. Our current work environment is hybrid – with several days on campus, which allow us to stay connected to students and our mission, and several days of remote work each week.
