California Community College Commission on Athletics (COA)

A major force on the national community college athletics scene, The Community College League of California's Commission on Athletics (COA) plays a key role in California's wide-ranging community college system. The California State Legislature has given COA the authority to establish the regulations, rules and policies to oversee the athletic activities of the more than 25,000 men and women community college athletes in California.

College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)

One of the leading national organizations in collegiate athletics, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) was created in 1957. For years, sports information directors were part of the American College Public Relations Association. But many Sports Information Directors at annual ACPRA conventions wanted to launch an organization that would be better address the challenges and issues sports information directors were facing. Today CoSIDA is thriving and has more than 2,400 members in North America. CoSIDA helps sports information directors at colleges in every state in the U.S. and every province in Canada. The goal of CoSIDA is to impact decision-making on all levels of the college sports world, and all of the organizations activities are aimed at achieving that goal.

Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC)

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) states that its goal is to improve intercollegiate athletics programs for student-athletes. The ECAC also strives to encourage educational leadership among student athletes. One of the nation's largest athletic conferences, the ECAC is a multi-divisional conference with more than 320 member colleges and universities from Maine to North Carolina and from the Atlantic ocean to Illinois.

Eastern College Athletic Conference Sports Information Directors Association (ECAC-SIDA)
